Scott Braunstein to leave J.P. Morgan Asset Management

After twelve years with J.P. Morgan Asset Management, Scott Braunstein has informed us of his decision to leave the firm to pursue other interests. During his tenure in the U.S. Equity research team, Scott has made significant contributions through his coverage of the healthcare industry, particularly in the biotech and pharmaceuticals sectors. We have begun a search for his replacement as an analyst. In the meantime, Scott’s coverage will be assumed by Dr. Allison Yang, with assistance from the rest of the health care team.

Additionally, Scott and Anne Marden have been Co-Portfolio Managers of the Global Healthcare Fund since its launch in October 2009. Anne Marden will assume responsibility as Lead Portfolio Manager for the Global Healthcare Fund, while Premal Pajwani will act as Alternate Portfolio Manager. Premal is a Global Healthcare Specialist in the Global Equities Team with more than 20 years industry experience. The Global Healthcare Fund continues to be driven by a team-based approach and we believe that we have one of the strongest teams of healthcare specialists across the global industry, with deep company insight and sector coverage.
